In their second collaboration, Sprekenhus launches new fragrances and invites Kaja Dahl to explore scent through her art. In sculptures, photos, and a new handmade diffuser, Dahl interprets the contrasting notes of «Dark Amber».
Resin from trees has during 40 million years been transformed into precious
amber stones by the sea. Its nickname «The Tears Of The Sun» is what inspired Dahl to create this crafted olfactory landscape of tactile objects. Sculptures reminiscing of perfume bottles composed of wood, gold leaves, and stone speaks of contrasting and balancing scents.

TOTM-Tears of The mountain is a handmade diffuser, a porous lava stone balance on shaped brass. It is a small sculpture for the home and is functional as a diffuser. Every piece is unique with a natural lava stone in variations of black and dark brown hues from the volcanic mountains.

Spray or drop your favorite fragrance onto the stone. The effect of the fragrance depends on the amount, the size of the space, temperature, and of the strength of your chosen oils.
